Diamond Pandora Club Charm
Each Limited Edition Pandora Club Charm is only available for one year. They are the only charm in our collections that features a genuine diamond. This makes each one a true Pandora collector's item. Pandora Club members are among the first to know about new Club Charms, so we recommend signing up to find out when the next one will be released.
The four value factors
Diamonds possess qualities that make them easily and systematically evaluated with internationally standardised terminology according to weight, colour, clarity and cut. This determines the rarity and value of individual stones. "Carat", the diamond's measurement classification, is not to be confused with “karat”, which is the measurement of gold.
1. Carat
Carat is a measure of weight. One carat is equivalent to 200 milligrams and can be divided into 100 ‘points’. A 0.50-carat diamond can also be described as a 50-point diamond or half-carat diamond.
2. Color
Diamonds occur naturally in a rainbow of colours. White-coloured diamonds remain the most popular as they reflect the light better. The closer to colourless a diamond is, the more valuable it tends to be. Pandora uses near colourless diamonds. Their colour is so slight that they appear colourless to the naked eye.
3. Clarity
Diamonds are formed under extreme heat and pressure and no two stones are alike. As a result, they often contain unique characteristics called inclusions (minerals or fractures created during their formation) and blemishes (surface scratches and nicks) that help to distinguish natural diamonds from synthetic counterparts.
4. Cut
A diamond in its natural state looks nothing like the finished gemstones on a piece of jewellery. Cut is the only value factor which is dependent on human intervention. The proper cut unlocks the true beauty of a rough diamond, and determines how the light interacts with its facets. Only a skilled diamond cutter can release its sparkle.
Love your stone!
Care for your diamond by avoiding rough handling. When you're not wearing it, store it separately from your other pieces to avoid scratches. Clean it with lukewarm, soapy water and gentle brushing. Ultrasonic cleaners should be used with caution as they can damage heat-treated diamonds and diamonds with imperfections that can’t be seen with the naked eye.
