How will my order be packaged?
Pandora Diamonds will be delivered with complimentary Luxe Packaging. All our bags and boxes are FSC certified, which means it comes from well-managed forests or has been recycled.
Your designated Diamond Certificate(s) will be included in your shipment for all stones at and above 0.50ct.
What is IGI Certification?
Pandora follows international diamond industry association (CIBJO) standards to ensure that the weight of every stone is always at or above the target we promise. Furthermore, all stones at 0.50 ct. and above are certified by the International Gemological Institute (IGI). IGI gives an accurate assessment of a diamond’s cut, colour, clarity and carat weight, according to strict international standards.
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes, lab-created diamonds are diamonds of the highest quality. That means they are identical to mined diamonds in terms of chemical composition, crystalline structure, brilliance and hardness, and are rated by the same “4Cs” – clarity, cut, colour and carat. Just like mined diamonds, they come from rough which is meticulously crafted by skilled artisans to unleash the individual fire and beauty in each stone. The main difference between lab-created diamonds and mined diamonds is that lab-created diamonds are grown above ground, whereas mined diamonds are drawn from the earth.
How to care for your lab-grown diamonds?
Keep your Diamonds by Pandora stone looking its radiant best with elements from our Jewellery Care Kit. Specifically formulated to clean and care for all types of jewellery, the kit’s liquid cleaner and polishing cloth are perfect tools for the maintenance and care of your Diamonds by Pandora.
Step 1: Immerse jewellery in the liquid cleaner for two minutes.
Step 2: Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.
Step 3: Buff to a shine with the Pandora polishing cloth using the white side on gold and sterling silver and pink side on white gold.
NOTE: Please do not use the Pandora cleaning brush on Diamonds by Pandora.
DAILY CARE
Remove your jewellery before showering, swimming or sleeping. To protect its rhodium coating, please keep white gold Diamonds by Pandora products away from hand sanitizer, perfumes and creams. Store your jewellery in a pouch or soft cloth separate from other jewellery.
How are lab-grown diamonds made?
Lab-grown diamonds are created by two main methods, HPHT (high pressure, high temperature) and CVD (chemical vapor deposition). For our sustainably lab-grown diamonds, we use the CVD method. It's an innovative process that replicates that of nature, meaning our lab-created diamonds are as individual as their mined counterparts. Just like mined varieties, our lab-grown diamonds are rated for quality by the 4Cs: cut, clarity, colour and carat but opposite to mined diamonds, our lab-grown diamonds are grown, cut and polished using 100% renewable energy. A lab-grown diamond will be visually indistinguishable with a naked eye from a mined diamond and just as unique.
How are Pandora’s lab-grown diamonds sustainably made?
Lab-grown diamonds used in our Diamonds by Pandora products are created in a sustainable manner. This means that we use 100% renewable energy to grow, cut and polish our lab-grown diamonds. Additionally, as the first collection ever at Pandora, all of our lab-grown diamonds in Diamonds by Pandora products are crafted using 100% recycled gold and silver. Because of we only use renewable energy and recycled metals, the carbon footprint of Diamonds by Pandora products is very low. For example, a gold ring with a 1ct stone has a carbon footprint of just 6.9kg, which is the same as one running shoe.
Why are lab grown diamonds less expensive?
Created in a laboratory above ground, our sustainably lab-created diamonds have a very different supply chain than mined varieties. This enables us to offer you an extremely high-quality product at an exceptional value.
Does my Lab-Grown Diamond jewellery have a warranty?
Pandora offers a warranty against defects for all genuine Pandora items purchased from an Australian or New Zealand Pandora Concept Store or Pandora Authorised Retailer or the Australian/New Zealand online store at www.pandora.net (Online Store), for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase.
